We recommend Norton Corporate Antivirus Version 7.6 or later.

This product is licensed. You need enough licenses to cover all staff computers at all sites. This is not a retail product, and you will need to purchase from a corporate software dealer.

Before installation, check to make sure your computer is connected to the Internet by opening up your web browser and going to the Google or Yahoo home page.

To install: Insert Disk 2 into your CD drive

When the menu comes up, select "Install Norton Antivirus Client locally"

Choose "Unmanaged Installation"

After installation, right click on the gold shield at the right of the toolbar at the bottom of your screen and select "open Norton Antivirus"

Click File at top left, and select Schedule Updates

If the box for Schedule Automatic Updates is not checked, click to check it, then click the schedule button.

Under Frequency, click the radio button next to Daily, then click the twistie next to the time and select a time when your computer will usually be turned on but not in use (try not to use times between noon and 1 pm).

Click Ok twice to close the windows, then click the Live Update button and observe as the latest files are downloaded.

Click Exit when finished.
