We're pretty pragmatic about OS environments, software, tools, etc. and will try to give a balanced opinion of tools that work (or don't), best policies, etc. This means we're not Microsoft, Mac, or Linux centric. Use the tools that will do the job in your situation. The Unix/Linux based tools generally have a longer history of stability & security, but the Microsoft products are firmly entrenched in many computing cultures. We'll try to show how to work across multiple platforms to get the job done...

We aren't super techs, just a bunch of folks who want to do our own thing without having to waste time & resources. Our experience bases are corporate, non-profit, small business and personal.
